Nepal Tourism Board at the behest of and in collaboration with the Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Operators showcased Nepal’s Tourism Prospects and Products for the first time ever in Greece in the 35th Philoxenia 2019 held in Thessaloniki, Greece from November 08 to November 10, 2019. NTB/ NATTA participated in the renowned Tourism Fair of Greece along with 10 private companies.
Considering the high potentiality of arrivals in the future from Greece with an outbound tourism of more than 7 million, Nepal showcased ithe VNY2020 campaign to a very positive response. Nepal also participated in the press conference where Ms. Nandini Lahe Thapa- Senior Director NTB focused on the myriad of tourism activities and why NEPAL is one of the favorite year-round tourism destinations globally. With new airports, hotels and infrastructure coming up, Nepal is ready to welcome more number of tourists from Greece and other countries in the Visit Nepal year 2020 and beyond.
The colorful Nepal pavilion was one of the prime attractions among 300 exhibitors of the Philoxenia 2019 tourism fair organized by Helexpo. The Nepal pavilion was visited by high-level officials including the Tourism Minister – Thessaloniki; Mayor & Governor of Macedonia and the president of Helexpo.
The co-exhibitors were overwhelmed by the response they received during B2B and B2C meetings.
