The 15th Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival will be held from April 5 to 11 around Yeouiseo-ro and the area behind the National Assembly Building. Various spring flowers such as forsythias, azaleas, rhododendrons, and cherry blossoms can be seen along the 1.7 kilometer stretch of road on Yeouiseo-ro.
The opening ceremony starts at 17:00, April 5, with exciting music performances and parades. Visitors will be able to enjoy various performances throughout the festival period.
At the main event area of the festival, programs such as various markets, a hanji (traditional Korean paper) lamp exhibition, outdoor library and more will be available. For the convenience of visitors, baby strollers, shoes, tricycles, and wheelchairs will be available for free rental in front of the festival entrance and at the tourist information center within the main event area.
