Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova will participate in the 19th World Summit on Travel and Tourism (WTTC). The Forum is held April 2 to 4, 2019 in Seville, Spain, and is under the general heading Visitors in the Tourism Sector (Changemakers).
Minister Angelkova will make a statement on the sustainable development of Bulgarian tourism as a national priority during one of the most important events of the meeting – the dialogue of world tourism leaders. It will represent our country as a destination offering many different forms of recreation and travel, but also as a place with great potential for investment in the sector.
The honorary guest of the event in Seville is Barack Obama, president of the United States for the period 2009-2017. He is a guest lecturer and will express his point of view on the key role of tourism in the context of the global economy.
Minister Engelkova’s working visit to Seville also includes bilateral meetings with the tourism ministers of Spain, Greece, Kenya, China, etc., as well as the senior management of international tourism corporations and media.
