Bangkok / 30 April 2019 – Bangkok Airways launches the “Surf On Board” campaign, waving the usual service fees for checking surfboards of wave riders on all flights. (except flights that are operated by ATR aircraft) The offer will be valid from 1 May until the end of December 2019.
Surf-enthusiasts who travel on Bangkok Airways flights will be able to load their surfboards (1 board per passenger) for free in addition to their normal baggage allowance. Passengers must make sure that the surfboard is properly packaged in a container or wrapped to protect it during loading and unloading. In addition to that, this service is available for travel purposes only. To take advantage of this service, passengers are requested to contact Bangkok Airways Call Center at 1771, or at E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org to book a space, as there might be limitations of space in some aircraft.
For worry-free travel, the airline highly recommends passengers traveling with surfboards to consider purchasing “Protective Wing,” a travel insurance that will insure their travels as well as any potential damage that may occur. To purchase the Protective Wing policy, please visit http://insurance.bangkokair.com or call 02-305-8457 for more information.
